We now have Yska for 7 months and you could not wish for a happier dog.
From the moment she opens her eyes until she goes to sleep she is cheerful and happy. She also challenges one of our other dogs to play but she still finds it a bit scary. Takes time, but it will be fine with those two. She also gets along well with the other dogs, she is completely included in the pack. But they are all sweet dogs with a backpack that can take a lot from each other.
Unfortunately, we had to have the eye removed, which she already had problems with, but it really doesn't bother her. She could see very little through that eye, so she was already used to the limited vision. She races like crazy in the meadow and has now also become acquainted with the river. She doesn't swim, but safe paddling is also fun, something the others don't even dare to do.
She loves the garden, we have a natural garden full of plants. What's more fun to stroll through that; okay sometimes something breaks, that I don't like so much but she has the time of her life and is completely on an adventure
We are still amazed that a dog that has lived on the street with a homeless man for 10 years can adapt so quickly. From the first day she was already on the couch, wonderfully against you.
We hope we can spoil her for years to come!
Marian and Pete.
