Arrival of dogs in Eindhoven on 24 October 2018

Last Wednesday, October 24, we were the companions, the escorts, for Ambra the shepherd, Felipe a brown dog and Clarisse, a black dog. It was a nice experience to be able to "bring home" these 3 dogs. When we left Malaga and were welcomed by the chief flight attendant, it was also mentioned that there were 3 lovely dogs on board. It gave me goose bumps that attention was paid to this in this way. It was the first time that I did this. Beforehand, I had wondered how it would all work ...?
We were soon "spotted" by the staff of ACE at the airport in Malaga and the rest went automatically. Being allowed to bring the dogs has given the return trip an extra nice touch. When the cages rolled towards me on the conveyor belt, it gave me a good feeling that I could hand them over to 3 happy and expectant owners. It was really a festival and I hope to be able to do it again! I wish Ambra, Felipe and Clarisse a happy and long dog life !!!!!

Fabienne's Diary - Mozart all alone on the street, and barely one month old ...

The little thing could barely walk ... Weighing roughly 1 kg and barely one month old. Yet he was already tough and sure of himself ... Luckily he let himself be picked up and he was brought to us. It turned out that this sweetheart was very sick, ... Which immediately revealed why the poor thing was dumped. He had distemper and was taken into our clinic. He received the necessary care and treatments, and is recovering miraculously well! This little character it is a tough, small, bright, courageous little four-legged friend! So thankful to be saved !!

Bobette was a regular patient in the clinic for a long time. This week she was finally allowed to go home! But first she was completely checked by the vet.

Our little Pinscher Cuko has been suffering from his knee for a while. This week he was taken to the specialist for an X-ray. However, the X-ray showed up another problem. There were 2 small stones in his urethra. These can cause major problems, and so Cuko had to be operated as quickly as possible. After a 2-hour operation, both stones were successfully removed!

Fabienne's Diary: Biffy - from owner to owner then the death station, and for no reason.

Biffy was another dog who had belonged to the Protectora that was closed, and so he ended up at the killing station. When he was checked, it turned out that Biffy had a chip, so it was scanned to find out who owned him, that turned out to be an English family, who had already returned to England two years earlier.

When we informed them of their dog's situation, they were shocked. They had given Biffy to the neighbours when they left, because they thought he would have a happy life there ... But at around that time Biffy was thrown over the wall at that Protectora, by someone who drove away with shrieking tires. When contact was sought with their old neighbors, they let them know that they wanted nothing to do with the dog and that he would have to go to his English owners. But these did not want to undertake the costs involved to reunite them with their dear four-legged friend.

Biffy, always the victim of an irresponsible owner. He himself is a born optimist and his tail is working overtime every day. He's a grateful and good dog that deserves better than to be treated that way. He is a social and child-friendly cheerful sweetheart, a cozy gabber, with lots of cuddly toys for you, every day!

At her favorite spot in front of the sofa.

8 years ago we picked you up from Belgium from Patrick and Nancy.

You had flown to Belgium as a puppy and you lived there for 4 years in a family that we could tell was good to you, you were not a fearful dog but just cozy and friendly and you understood us so well, half a word was enough. You had to leave because of family circumstances, I think your boss had tears in her eyes.

We were crazy about you, you were such a happy dog. You fit in with our Bono (ACE Blondie) and also you had no problem.with the dogs that came to us later  A few years ago you started to become skinny and after research at the vet and later the internist we found out that you had hepatitis. With medication we have been able to keep you on your feet for a long time but in the last six months you started eating less and even though you seemed to be fine from the outside because of your woolly coat, when you were touched we felt your ribs and so on. I prepared everything for you, to get you to eat but it became increasingly difficult.

Yesterday I made the difficult decision to put you to sleep. Our dear vet Ingrid was free so I made the appointment for so that she could put you to sleep at home and this afternoon at a quarter to 5 you let out your last sigh.

I will miss you and always keep a special place in my heart for you.

Rest softly sweetheart.

Fabienne's diary: My Napoleon has gone .

I hoped that the day would never come, ...
My Napoleon, my delicious tubby frog, my strong and passionate character,
My absolute soul mate, but many will say, you still have so many,
yes, and each one is dear to me, but you were just a little more than that, ...
You turned 14, you were the first Bulldog that I encountered in my life,
13, 5 ago, ... in the killing station suddenly something jumped against the back of my knees, when I looked around, I looked into two big eyes, that was you.
It was love at first sight, how I have enjoyed you, my great love for bull dogs was created by you, you
A little man you were, with a delusional madness that you took to extremes - you just knew that you could behave that way because your humor and your personality, were limitless, exceptional.

My little sweetheart, today I had to see you go, my heart breaks,
together with Max and Mozart in less than a month, it is unreal ...
It is a pain that no man understands if they have not known their four-legged friend,
you go deeper than good for us, how I am going to miss you ...
My dear Napoleon, how we loved you ... never out of our hearts, but forever deep in our minds, always, and everywhere, ... my rascal, you were part of me, but I just loved that, ...

A real Napoleon !!

Fabienne's diary: Time for the Podencootjes! And here's another one: Meraki ...

The large dumping of 2018 has begun, ... The hunters rage and take out their frustrations in forest and field on any of their dogs that do not follow or can no longer follow, or who trail behind, and how?! With or without wounds, broken paws, in heat or not in heat, hungry or not, it will be of no concern to them, again Meraki is one of the many, ... When Meraki came in she was very scared at first ... And then she realized that people also have a heart, ... She starts to love this life, but it is all new to her, it is a world she does not know, ... Meraki is very social and sweet, affectionate and very grateful!

Freight from NL has arrived, thank you again very much !!!!!

Thank you to everyone who made sure that everything came to us !!
Our Transport team, who sacrifice their free hours and days for it, our people who donated all of this, thank you very much !!!
