She was rescued, along with three mothers and many other puppies, from the slums of Seville. From there, mommy and puppies were dumped in the killing station to try to survive there. They too were victims during that heavy night of the flood: they fought, just like their mothers, for their young lives. Some didn't make it, others are fit and full of vitality today, our Gigi is one of them.
She was the weakest of the litter, has 1 eye from which she cannot see much, and also has a small white dot on her other eye. According to the vet, this may work out over time, but maybe not at all, only time will tell. Yet she is not bothered at all now, she eats well and is now completely on top of it all: she was on the edge for a while but was lucky.
Gigi is a master cuddly toy, she likes to sit on your lap, cuddle up and enjoy it, as long as she can be with you. She is social with our cats and other dogs, and has a very sweet and grateful disposition. She is gradually becoming more and more self-confident. She used to be the family's scapegoat, but now that she is in foster care, she has completely blossomed. A dark brown little princess. We think she will be medium sized…
