Mellow comes out of the killing station and is a frightened, slightly older gentleman. He is social with other dogs and is slowly developing. Mellow must undoubtedly have had a home because you just see him grieving in his current life but how he ended up in the killing station and what his past is, we can only guess. He is a large and strong dog so someone with knowledge of the breed and who can deal with his shy character is certainly a very big advantage.
