TOOSKE (MAYKE)

Our Tooske, already one year with us,

There we were, in an abandoned industrial area. Thunder and lightning, in the pouring rain, full of expectation. Finally, after 5 months, our new family member arrived.

Afraid, shy, not knowing what to expect, tired from the journey and never having sat in the back of a car before, she accepted the journey. At home she pooped and peed all over the room; it would be a few more days before she discovered the street through the garden. What a relief for us! The first days she didn't want anything from us but we caressed her paws with soft hands and spoke to her softly, and she gradually allowed us to do it more and more. 

We realized that patience was a virtue in this one thing.

Gradually, our little lady developed into a full-fledged dog, curious and absorbing everything.

Now, after one year with us, we have a real Spanish diva on the couch! She likes good food just like us, has her bowl empty in no time and then looks at us accusingly with "And why am I not getting anything else?"

And now say honestly; who can resist those beautiful deer and eyes!" (ha, ha)

In this year she has gained more self-confidence, jumps in the car herself when we go to do something, walks home from the beginning of our street perky as if to say "come on, I know the way!"

We don't let her go in the field yet, after all, every rabbit or cat is exciting, so she goes to the doggy day care during the week for a day so that she can romp with other dogs and leave the car tired and satisfied at the end of the day.

We hesitated quite a bit then, you give up quite a lot of free time and the vet knows her well by now but what you get in return is so much love, yesterday she was sleeping on the couch in my knee cavity on the blanket, say yourself, you just melt at the sight and you know you made the right decision!
