Macay and Mirto, a brother and sister, lived in the garden of their home for over 10 days, but their owner was nowhere to be found. A lady that came by everyday, was aware of the dogs for a while and thought that they just happened to be in the garden at the times she passed by, so she didn't think anything of it.
Everytime she passed the house, when she walked her own dog, they came jumping against the gate, and
greeted her and her dog. After a while she noticed that one of them was sitting quietly in a corner so she rang the doorbell, no answer. She thought, they must be out for a bit and went home, thinking she would see the owner the next time
The next day however, both dogs were apathetic in their garden and didn't even look up anymore. Then, an alarm bell went of. The lady climbed over the gate and saw the proof that the dogs had been left alone there..
We immediately took both dogs away from there.. they were rushed into a clinic and received the necessary care. Both had below normal temperatures as a result of the bad weather, were dehydrated and weakened because they had had no food for days..
Both are now safe and doing fine, taken the circumstances into consideration. They are two sweet and good
dogs.
