Slavik being examined.
Here are some more photos of Jap and Slavik and El Chaparral. Jap was thrown over the wall of the Refugio, which broke his leg. It was just dangling off his body. In addition there were still hundreds of indications of how that that little body had suffered. Poor little scrap.
Jap is an intense character, a fragile little dog. His heart
goes on a wild rampage if you pick him up, his beautiful brown eyes watching you
anxiously until he feels your love, then he relaxes completely. What horrors all these dogs go through.
He and Slavik were checked and examined by our traumatologist
Carlos. Jap needs surgery, Slavik doesn't. He is lucky. His leg is not in such a bad way and it will be OK for years.
Slavik stole the show, laying his little head on the doctor's lap, as if he wanted to say: "Love me man, I'm up for
adoption!" Slavik is a real sweetheart, like Jap. Each deserves their world to be saved, both are worth it.
Jap's turn
Slavik ...
... such a good boy!
Love me!
