In July last year we collected Manu from Schiphol. We fell for his joyfulness. From the very first moment he felt at home in Holland. He likes to lay on the couch next to us and to enjoy beautiful walks outside. Manu suits us ... a calm and friendly dog. We have a lot of fun with each other, hopefully for years together. On behalf of Manu, thank you very much for your care and help.

I would like to fly the flag for the older dogs who are being looked after by ACE. We currently have 5 senior dogs living with us, 2 of which come from ACE.

In October 2015, Gitta came to live with us, and perfect lady that she is, got used to our Dutch habits in no time. Gitta is a real all rounder - she enjoys attention, a regular walk , and of course food.
Gitta's health was perfect. Unfortunately, now that she's almost 15 she now beginning to go a bit demented. However, with the support of a pill, her behavior is calmer, and she can enjoy her last period of this world in a good way.

On May 1, Toy arrived in the Netherlands and he came to live with us. Toy turned 11 in June. He has had a terrible time in Spain. Hartworm, Leishmania, abandoned by his family and ending up in a killing station. Thanks to ACE, came into loving hands again.

Toy is a terribly affectionate boy, He had some adjustment problems but those are now as good as disappeared! He enjoys his life in the Netherlands, and how happy we are with this mannekin. We hope to have many adventures with him for years to come.

Senior dogs also deserve a warm basket, not just the younger ones. It gives so much satisfaction to see how much they enjoy their basket and their new life.

An entire family of lovely puppies were sitting in the killingstation, four sisters and their brother. So young and their end was already in sight ... yet another unwanted litter. In Spain people refuse to see the importance of neutering and then it happens, unwanted pups! These innocent puppies often get liquidated in the most gruesome manner.

Osu and his sisters formed a homogeneous litter, both in appearance, character and attitude, for they are all wonderful dogs. How fortunate that we were able to save these five innocent little lives. It was so nice to see them playing safe and sound, romping, eating and sleeping ... puppies as puppies are supposed to be. 

It wasn't long before three of the sisters were adopted. But for no reason that we can see, both Oso and Osu were not so fortunate. Who knows why some dogs get their golden baskets while others have to wait and wait. 

Osu  is a very beautiful colored bitch, a nice and sweet tri-colour - she had big paws and has grown into a medium sized dog. Oso is equally beautiful and with the same lovely temperment. They are both still only young ... still only eighteen months old. A lovely age, no longer puppies but right at the beginning of their little lives. Both of them will be loyal, loving friends. Who wants such a dog - such a loving, delightful companion. A dog who will repay your love a thousandfold. Unconditionally.
