Keith has become Bliksem ..

September 23 we were able to pick up our dog. That was exciting, very uncomfortable in the beginning. On the way home he was in the back seat and I was sitting next to him. My wife was driving and everything was fine. When he came home it was all very exciting for him, of course, it took some getting used to. He slept in our bedroom because we wanted to postpone the confrontation with our cats. The first few days we had to get used to the fact that he wasn't toilet trained yet, at least he peed and pooped in the living room. Also a process that is normal, of course. He is now very much at home and after a week that was completely over, he is already very much at home in our nice house. One of the cats gets licked all over and licks back, the other is a bit more shy but that is fine in itself. Keith has been called Bliksem and is already listening very well, has already had 2 short training sessions and we are very happy with him. and yes, he also broke the sofa, took the flower bulbs from the garden and still can't keep his hands off the turds in the litter box. But ...... he is very happy when I come home, thrilled when we go for a walk again, and it is wonderful to see him play with other dogs we meet. In short, we hope to have many more years together with our Bliksem. Of course he misses the Spanish sun at the moment, but when he is nice and warm in his basket he has forgotten that too. It's great that Bliksem came to live with us, we enjoy each other. With best regards Jet and Eveline
