Sita - born despite the odds

Sita - against all odds!

SITA ... she was born despite all their efforts. Her mom was used as a test object for sterilizations in a killing station and was adopted from there.

A Spanish family told us that the mom had been used for the killing station vets to practice on. After they had the dog for a while, they couldn't use her any more as they discovered she was pregnant. It turned out that she hadn't been sterilized properly!

When the vets were told, they said it did not matter because the dog was actually still sitting in a killing station. The vets were told several times but the answer was that it didn't matter because she would be euthanised anyway.

The result of the whole history was that SITA came into the world. Meanwhile, her mom was sterilized in a proper and responsible manner so our SITA became the last puppy she will give birth to. May we hope that she will have much luck from now on.
