One of our volunteers went to pick up a dog she wanted to save from the killing station, and just when she was there, Pancho's family brought him into the end station. The dog was mercilessly handed over without a trace of feeling. When Pancho saw his owners walking away, he not only panicked but cried and pulled and did everything so that he could go back to them. Whereupon he was violently thrown into a cage.

The volunteer who saw the terrible incident called us to ask if she could save that poor wretch too, and that's how this sweetheart came to us. He is a very sweet loyal dog, social and good, not a cockerel in front, but rather a submissive character. He is now with us, a medium sized, beautiful dog with a good and social character, he clearly likes to be around people.

He is slightly larger than a Bodeguero but very finely built, he likes to play and is a good walker. He is looking for an owner who will take the time to teach him to adjust and makes him feel at home: once you go  through that together, you will have a loyal friend for life.

Delcine and Elicia, are now in foster care in Belgium. They are sweet, but still timid little ladies who like to be cuddled, but who need some time to adjust. Fabienne's diary: The story of Ney.

When Ney was barely a year old, he was stolen from the garden of his owners. Their search and effort to find him failed, he was without a trace. The years passed, until Isabelleke found this sweetheart a few months ago, wandering through the streets of Alora. She took him to the vet and called the owner, because he was still registered in the name of his owners.

After three years, however, they had long forgotten him, we were told, and they had a different dog, and they did not want to welcome him home, "We do not want him anymore, ...". There stood Isabelleke with dear Ney, who had been who knows where for three years, and was then put on the street by them, and then there was his old owner, who once adopted him, but now no longer wanted him. She took the wretch under her wing, and now we are looking for a sweet and good family for this special dog.

He is super social and very gentle by nature, a quiet follower by your side. He never leaves your side once you have earned his friendship, and is a good soul! He walks among the many dogs at Isabel's and is friends with everyone, and he comes to greet every visitor in a friendly but unobtrusive way. He is a great dog who deserves better than to be forgotten like that, as if he never existed ...

Yara

When we got Yara from the killing station, she was in bad shape. She was a living skeleton, her whole body covered with open wounds and a leg that she could no longer stand on. Last week she arrived in her new home. Her adopters say: "Yara is asleep, after a long journey. She needs to get stronger and become completely healthy again, the beginning is there. On to a nice life.

Aron, who arrived Sept. 3, is doing fine.
