Uma of the sad eyes ...

Yes, yet another Podenco. A noble breed that suffers horribly at the hands of hunters in this country. Uma is also another of those dogs who came to us as puppies. She was barely four months old when she came here dumped, like so many others, with her siblings.

And she's been with us ever since. Four whole years now. Who will give her what she longs for - her very own family to love? Who will embrace her and take the sadness out of those beautiful eyes.

In memoriam Eras (ACE Hera)

We had to put our Eras to sleep yesterday afternoon! She turned 10 years old. And been sick for a long time! In the end it was no longer possible because of a tumour in her glands / throat.  We are going to miss her, she was very sweet to us, heartbroken !!

In memoriam Lobke

Our Lobke (ACE Adela 11174) arrived at Christmas 2015. She had one backpack (she was the victim of illegal breeding). She turned 13 years old !!We hadn't expected it after all of her health problems. What a strong lady she was, she always conquered everything.

Even after the thrombosis in June, after three weeks of paralysis, she wanted to quietly continue her life again, but her body was gone and she has quietly left for the stars.

The beautiful years remain in our memory, she was able to meet Akira (June 2020) and she always gave her licks. We are happy that we gave an older dog the chance to discover the world in her golden basket.

Distinctive Donatello of the bright eyes ...

As eye-catching as his namesake, Donatella Versache, our dear little Donatello has an unusual coat and bright button-black eyes. With his distinctive coat and neat stature, he's a little star. A small to medium sized doggie, he will be an asset in any family. And like all our beautiful four legged, he needs his very own home.

Darling Donatello has been with us for three years. Since he was a small puppy of about 3 months old. He's currently in foster care in the Netherlands but he deserves his own home too, much as he is loved where he is. But so far he has been overlooked and has gradually slipped to the back of the website. He's on page 7 out of 8 pages, so maybe doesn't get seen as much as he should.

Who is going to change this for him. Who is going to take him off our website and into their hearts. They will get a loving, distinctive sweet smallish and very grateful doggie.

Our dearest Rolf has turned 4 years old (according to the Ace calendar)! This happy egg has been with us for over a year and a half. We are celebrating your birthday on Vlieland.

Look at Anubis now ... a dog once dumped ... a piece of dirt to the one who gave him up.
He had a very difficult time in the refugio ... was very nervous ... very unhappy ...

Today he's joyful and happy at home with young and old .... RESCUE IS BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Storm

Storm joined us in May! In the beginning Storm was terribly scared, especially of men, but has now found his confidence and is a real cuddlebutt! Storm cannot be far from Mom; he sticks to her. Where Mom is, there is Storm! Storm is a naughty, sweet, alert puppy.

We want to thank the organisation for the great cooperation and thank you for bringing us Storm!
He is part of us now. We will give him all the love we have !!
