Fabienne's diary: Lucy, ... Her brothers and sisters were clubbed to death.

Monday, August 3, 2020

Lucy, a Podencootje, lived with her family on the edge of a gypsy camp. They had a sad start. Their world began in the bushes next to the gypsy camp. And if that was not enough, her brothers and sisters were clubbed to death by a woman from the camp, who thought that was normal behaviour.

Lucy managed to escape but the woman managed to take her back. But when a female, who happened to pass by, saw what this lady was up to, she pulled Lucy away from the gypsy and walked to her car and disappeared as soon as possible with Lucy. Leaving the memory of her dead brothers and sisters behind.

Lucy went home with the lady temporarily, and an incredibly sweet, affectionate and grateful dog emerged. A dog that has never counted, and has never been in a house. She learned very quickly, is sweet and social with a cat and dog. She always gives grateful paws. She's just a top dog, a unique family member, who was the only one who survived a horrific family history.
