Fabienne's Diary: Fonzy, our Galgo teenager,...

 Wednesday, August 4, 2021

Fonzy is a beautiful, very sweet Galgo who was rescued from the killing station as a puppy. He was lovingly cared for but had a problem with his hip, this was examined and he was going to be operated on. Everything was put into operation and planned, but the candidate adoptee at the time wanted have him operated on himself. Unfortunately, after a few months, he was dumped again and of course he was not operated on, which we deeply regret, so Fonzy came back as he was.

Fortunately, his foster family wanted to take him in again and he was spared a cage. However, his operation still has to be done and we now want to start collecting for that. He has a luxation of the femoral head and this needs to be remedied. This operation will cost around 850 euros. If you would like to help, please do so, through donations, via our savings group on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/112270589141334 or via our webshop (https://aceshin.steunons.be/ )! That way we can help this sweet and incredibly good boy on his way back to his happiness!
