Susie is a sweetheart of a dog, one lump of pure friendship, who had a lot of bad luck in her already so short life. When we were in the killing station we didn't take her away with us, no,… She was not released because her owner did not wanted to sign a waiver form. Often that is the reason that some dogs remain in a killing station for months, sometimes even years. As long as they are not signed off by their previous boss, they cannot be adopted. Pure bureaucracy, but hell for the animal of such an irresponsible and indifferent owner. After long negotiations and a lot of nerves, she was finally allowed to join. Anything is possible, if they want.
Susie has been through a hard and sad time, but remains a happy, friendly personality who now needs to be able to go to another home. She is sociable with other dogs, easy going, but also a dog that needs exercise, especially her daily walks.
