Dominique was found on the streets and has been living with Amalia, one of our great foster mums. We don't know what happened to Dominique in her young life but whatever it was it has made her anxious in some situations. When she gets stressed she may snap out of fear, but never towards her master. Once she has confidence in you she will be yours for ever and will learn to trust people again.
Dominique is fine with other dogs - the bad experiences she has had did not come from other animals. it is humans who put fear into a dog. So now she needs that one special human who will show her that we are not all the same. Who will have patience and give her time and show her love so she can become the dog she was born to be.
Dominique has been with us for nearly six years, most of her life. She is no longer a pretty puppy, she may not be the most beautiful but she is a dear dog who had a rotten start in life and deserves so much better.
