A good boy wanting a new forever home

We are urgently looking for a foster home or preferably a forever home for Wellington. Wellington is an active boy for which we unfortunately need to look for new bosses. He has been in the Netherlands for two years now, where he had a very nice life. Unfortunately, he has not been able to live peacefully with the other Bulldog (male) in the family for some time. For this reason, the adopters have asked us to look for a new home for him.

Wellington is a real clown, he often puts a smile on your face with his crazy antics. He is also a delicious huggy bear. However, it is important that the new boss is firm with him. Wellington needs clarity. In fact, he is quite confused and as a result of that confusion he may snap at other dogs. He is best placed as the only dog in the family.

He likes playing outside with other dogs, but it can sometimes go wrong, so you have to be careful to give him boundaries in good time. He loves cats; he loves to play with them too, but he respects the signals that a cat gives. Wellington can only be left at home for a while, he likes to go with you in the car and run loose where it is appropriate. He can also conduct himself well with children, although he is able to moderate his crazy behaviour. Wellington knows the commands Sit - Here - Wait - Stay - Let Go. He likes to play with a ball and he likes to run in shallow water and play, but he does not swim. Wellington lives in the south of the country and serious potential adopters are welcome to visit this rascal.
