About Yentl, great !! He's a lot of fun. My husband and I have a lot of fun with him. Yentl trusted me before my husband, but that went well after a week.
He is a rascal, crawls under gates or climbs over them. Know where the cat food is, so he has been sick through eating this food before. Is lightning fast at a door, I have already locked him in the closet.
And yes, he is a calf-biter, if he does not know people yet. He has already succeeded 3 times. So when people are visiting, he unfortunately goes into a crate. He makes no distinction between children or adults. He likes to walk on the lead. I don't take him for the long walk with the other dogs, for then he misbehaves. All dogs and strange people are "attacked". But if I take him alone, he can be corrected. So, that will change with time.
In the first week he literally had a fight with all the other dogs, but now he's playing. Especially with the youngest two it is great fun. And I see him grabbing the legs of the other. There is play fighting, so nice to watch. He often jumps in the air. And at night he lies under the covers. ;-)) Yentle lives with abandon. Oh yes, and he lies in the basket with the cat.
My husband and I occasionally wonder, was he really that unmanageable? But then he has a real go at the big neighbouring dogs. And then we understand it again.
