Update Lisa and Bruce (formerly Rolfie)

Monday 28 December 2020 About 5 years ago we were waiting at the airport for Bruce ... our cute, funny little guy. Bruce was immediately a super nice, funny and calm dog. He is easily scared of people he does not know and is not a fan of feet 😟 + is over protective of us and the kids. We have to take that into account. Almost a year later we were back for Lisa. We thought she would be calm too… we were wrong 😍😍 From the first moment we knew we had a hilarious, cute and active dog in the house 😍😍 The ride home alone was an adventure. Crawled through the whole car, sat half on us. Once at home it was noticed that she was very restless. The first 3-4 months she had not really found peace, seldom lay down comfortably, walked around the house a lot. Then suddenly after a (unfortunately) unpleasant experience on the dog pasture, she had clicked and knew that we were protecting her. Then she changed to a (still active 😊) affectionate little dog. She came to mess around, lie with us,… The disadvantage is that she is very protective towards us when other dogs come near. We no longer go to a dog meadow. Lisa and Bruce are also doing well together. Always lie together, play together a lot, get up to antics together (although Lisa is usually the instigator and Bruce just profits along 😁😁).

Because of her antics we had to place extra doors in the house so that she cannot, for example, get into the kitchen when we are not there; they can get onto the counter without any problems ... and we have already lost some meals, bread etc. She also likes to lie in the weirdest places. eg their basket when their toys are in it, the kid's gymnastics mat … quite funny sometimes, but, besides that… we were really lucky with our 2 monsters. 😍 We hope to have a lot of fun with them for a long time to come πŸ˜€
