Fabienne’s Dog of the Week: Troy

 Monday 28 December 2020

Our Troy: there he sat like a monument in his death row, awaiting his death ... and that along with so many other Staffords, they are everywhere. In every shelter, and few people are interested because their name was unfairly portrayed, portrayed very negatively. Yes, if you screw them up, that's what happens, but if you raise these dogs well, there are no better ones.
However, Troy also became too strong, too big and he was delivered to a killing station and yes, he is no ordinary dog, he is a whopper of a Stafford.

He is looking for an owner without children because we did not get his background fully; he needs a boss who knows the breed and wants to educate him because he needs guidance and discipline. He is a beautiful blue and beautiful in his breed, but the person who will adopt him will still have to know and be knowledgable, must have common sense in handling him because he is a sturdy, willful, strong dog that still has to learn everything.

In our eyes he has good character, is very sweet with people, with other dogs it's just impossible until now, because he has not yet learned to be social, and therefore it's very difficult to place him with people who have no experience.
