Marit… A Podenco who, like so many others, was once again left to her fate. In Corona times, survival is even more a challenge than usual, and one that is difficult to maintain. She was seen everywhere for a while, but then she was gone again, limping on three legs and with a little bit still under her skin. She looked terrible when we finally got her in our midst. Marit could not carry on anymore. She was completely used up and the pain in her whole body was unbearable. She was immediately admitted to the clinic, because she was in bad shape… Her fear of people was overcome almost immediately after she was caught. She traded it for a full stomach and complete surrender, grateful to be with us. Currently she is lovingly cared for and she is doing much better. Her leg is much better, after proper treatment and with good care it's completely normal again. She is a social sweetheart, who is now gradually coming into herself. A sweetheart that we will all fight for together until she will be spoiled shamefully!
