Fabienne's diary : Life is not the same for everyone

We received a notice that two dogs were living on heavy chains, with hardly any food or drink. Their owners would drop by every now and then but had no intention of giving these dogs any of the care they deserved. Day after day they tried to keep their heads upright and to calm their stomachs with some stale bread. When a volunteer informed us about the situation, we went to rescue them. Two defenceless dogs, forgotten, somewhere in a campo where no people heard or saw them. Braco and Lara came to us and did not understand what happened to them.The heavy chains of their necks, the filth of their bodies and now food and drink, attention and caring hands ... No more long lonely days, no weeks without someone to say hello to them.They are both, incredible but true, so sweet and affectionate, so grateful. Happy to be saved and to experience this new world, what a treasures of dogs! Whoever wants to adopt them will certainly get a best friend, but they still have to learn everything. They still have to learn to live in a house, and discover everything in this world they don't know. That certainly requires effort from both sides , but with patience and commitment, and with pure friendship, will certainly succeed!
