Ella & Nino - please don't forget them

However nicely you are treated in a shelter, no matter if your tummy is full and you get water and just as important kind words and cuddles - it is still nevertheless a shelter. There are lots of other dogs asking for attention and while it's fun to have companions to play with, nothing beats having your very own family. Nothing beats belonging.

It's even harder when you are getting on in years. Neither Nino nor Ella are yet exactly 'oldies', but they are nine years old and not getting any younger. They would both love to have their own family. Both are in foster care, Nino in the Netherlands and Ella in Spain.

Ella - this sweet girl belonged to a hunter who didn't want her any more.

At her foster home, with Isabelleke, she gets on wonderfully with all the dogs, large and small.

Nino such a beautiful, calm sweet dog. He will be fine with older kids as the only dog.

At his foster home in the Netherlands he romps and loves to play. He'd love you to visit him.
