Vossie is doing great (ace Paca)

She has been with us for 3.5 weeks now ๐Ÿ˜€

Looking forward to a new dog for a long time, scrutinising the entire internet, Matthijs who thought that the house had to be finished first, and in the end be ready for ia dog, even though our house is not finished at all, Fez and Kiki who were very happy with that. See more dogs on the internet, regularly meet a dog that we all four of us liked, bumped into Paca, all 4 really like her, are nervous about the house visit, have a very pleasant conversation. On Kiki's birthday we hear we can adopt her.

Wait, come up with 300 names, arrive at the name Vossie through a family ranking system, find she also looks like a fox, suddenly hear that we can get her pretty quickly, see her for the first time, find her smaller than expected, see that she shakes and farts with fear, what a sweetheart, tears in your eyes.  Allowed to take her, see that she is carefully licking the hand of Matthijs in the car, Fez and Kiki waiting for her at home, tears also with them looking in the eye when they see Vos for the first time, immediately seeing her at home making friends with her basket.

Noticing that she is not yet toilet trained, noticing that she is starting to like us, noticing that she is starting to like us so much that she likes it a lot less without us, noticing that she poops, urinates and demolishes things at night , decide to let her sleep in our bedroom (for the time being), buy a second basket for her, notice that she is very quiet at night, recognise that she still shows her belly very often, fall in love with her, see that she inside is very sweet, more like a deer than a fox.

Seeing that outside she is more of a hunting fox than the deer inside, wanting to chase all ducks, birds and cats, just tracking and pulling on the leash, squeaking when she sees other dogs because she wants to greet them so badly, in all places where she ever saw a cat or duck would like to take a closer look if they are still sitting there.  As if she were a meerkat on 2 hind legs,  looking up to see if there might be something further on ....

Seeing that she dares to cuddle more and more, see all our hands thoroughly cleaned, dare to climb on the sofa with us, also dare to lick our faces carefully, sleep well in her basket, come to us more and more often, dares to sit against us to, cautiously kind of dare to crawl on your lap, notice that she is quite smart, learn commands such as 'sit', 'in the basket', 'stay'. Learn that she cannot just get off the sidewalk, learn that we are silent standing when she pulls heavily on the leash, see that she can open the trash can, learn that that is not allowed, see that she is collecting shoes, learn that that is not allowed, learn that she is not allowed on our bed, and that she does this all super fast!

More cuddling, happily walking outside, no more pulling on the leash, much less hunting, seeing her becoming more and more confident, seeing her sweetly greet other dogs, seeing more hops, the tail in the air, no more flat ears but standing upright, receive even more hand brushings, see her focus more and more on us, see Fez and Kiki enjoying themselves, cuddling even more, becoming even more attached to this sweet little Fox, seeing that she is a good listener, and is endearingly sweet to everyone.

We are so grateful that you saw her, took her, cared for, fed, treated, vaccinated, sterilized, cuddled, petted her, cleaned her cage, washed her bowls, walked her out, photographed her, put her on the internet, emailed her, made a home visit, transported, equipped with a harness and chip, and everything else I may have forgotten.

 Greetings,

a very happy family!

Here are pictures of how we saw her for the first time, in her basket, some exhaust and hug pictures. In some photos she is not wearing a harness; she didn't like it the first days, so she chewed it to pieces ...

Meanwhile a new harness in the house and now she is also used to it๐Ÿ˜€
