We don't stand still. We need to move forward. We have been working here for sixteen years and we are always trying to overcome the obstacles in our way.
Our ACE SHIN refugio is a rescue center, where every day we endeavour to give hope and a chance to those who had no chance.
That is our only goal!
We have now been waiting for nearly four years for the licence to build our new cages. We still don't have it and, because our dogs really need to have the dignity of a proper cage, not the temporary cages at the entrance, we decided nevertheless to put up the cages but to use removable material, so that it is legally justified. Our clinic, on the other hand, will have to wait because we cannot do that at this time.
We will install our heat lamps in early October. It's very hot right now and fortunately they are not yet needed! That will be for the winter. We will keep you further informed.
Below you can see the pictures of the cages which are now being made at the factory. Once these are ready, they will come to us and we will install them and then finally a big dream will come true: our dogs will have a decent quarantine area.
The dogs that come to us from the killing station will be located near the vet but in quarantine until they are safe and as sound at the others and ready to go to their golden baskets.
