After a fearful beginning, our Tim is blossoming

Tim - longing for his very own family and forever home

This small brown and white fellow is a son of Mama Mia, a beautiful Podenco mother was shot, even though she had puppies. We managed to rescue them all but Tim and his brothers and sisters, though alive and well, were frightened of everything and everybody. To keep them all safe, Mama Mia had taught them all to hide - and life was a struggle.

Tim is now 3 yrs old and is in foster care in the Netherlands. Like his brothers and sister Tim loves the company of other dogs so being in foster care suits him and he's getting along very well. He still isn't very good on his own, but the foster family are taking him to training sessions. He was very timid and fearful in Spain but he's blossoming in his foster placement. He now understands that people can be kind to him and is growing in confidence and learning to trust them.

Tim loves to play and run, especially with the other dogs. Once he knows you well he loves to cuddle. People he doesn't know need to approach him quietly, otherwise he will get too agitated. He loves to eat and has a real sweet tooth. He is housebroken and will also indicate if he needs to go outside.

Tim is looking forward to having a forever home and it would be ideal if there were already a stable, calm dog there to be his companion. He needs a family who will take his fears into account, understand him and help him overcome the uncertainties of his early life. A family who will restore his confidence in the big world and in man. He's already made great progress with his foster family. Will you now be the ones to continue the good work started by Mama Mia, continued by Fabienne and her team and now by Tim's kind foster family. You will be rewarded with loyalty, affection and gratitude by this darling little dog.
