Our first day at Refugio is over. As always it was one with a smile and a tear but we are so happy that we were able to make a difference for all the dumped souls here.
A few were allowed to leave the shelter for a while and go on a walk with us and nice pictures were taken to put them in the spotlight in the coming weeks, and later in the day all the shelter dogs were spoiled with hugs and cookies.
It is unimaginable how sweet and grateful they are, despite their past and their tough asylum life.
Respect for Fabienne and her team, who care for them every day with great love and conviction with the aim that they can one day leave for a better future...
