Viko

Wednesday 24 March the time had come: we were allowed to pick up Viko from Barneveld. And we were looking forward to it!

When we first saw Viko he was very scared, after all he had had a long journey. When he got home, a whole new world opened up for him. Life in the Netherlands is different from that in Spain!

Viko has been very afraid of unexpected sounds and of men from the very beginning. This isn't quite over yet. We do see that he shows himself more and more to us! He can be quite "crazy" and stubborn. Viko loves being in the car (and then behind the wheel). He also likes going to the forest or the playground. In the meantime, he has become accustomed to us and our rhythm and knows well when it is bedtime.

Viko still has a lot to learn, but first we let him get used to his new life. The rest will come later.
