Cheto is an oldie who was no longer welcome. He was dropped off at the killing station, a sad turn of events for an oldie his age. He's an oldie who likes to be left alone by other dogs, and he lets his old voice be heard that he prefers to be alone. But when the young puppies play around him, he literally and figuratively resigns himself to it.
In this heat it is hard for this old boy, that's why he now lives in our canteen where he gets a bite from everyone. It's tough for family dogs that get dumped, whether they're old or young. It's always a shock and a tough test.
We are looking for a warm basket for our Chetto, for a year or longer. Somewhere where he can enjoy himself for a while and is treated with respect and love.They all deserve that, not least our Chetto.
