Our Bobientje did not make it, we lost this battle, ...

It was late Sunday when the vet had to come out on his weekend to let her go.

We couldn't bear to let it go on anymore, we couldn't put right all the damage done from her long time in the killing station. Despite all the strength and effort, yesterday she didn't want to carry on.

Her eyes were blank, her body given up, her life over, and who was our Bobientje? What was her story?

And who was her unknown boss who dumped her here to be killed?

After my 21 years of experience of rescue in Spain, this is still very common every day, and you know, you never get used to this, your heart breaks every time, because this sweetheart did not deserve this.

A brave soul who underwent it all, ... we shed tears, ... for a world that slipped away from us.
