Ameva

Ameva, now called Amy, came to us on October 21st. Upon arrival at the airport, she was stiff from the stress. Since then, she gets a little better every day. She is starting to relax and get accustomed to the homely rituals.

We suspect that she is not accustomed to domestic life. She copies Charlie a lot, he's our Scottish Smooth Collie. She watches what he does, then it does it too because she realised that will be good. In that respect it is a great advantage that there is a stable peaceful dog at home. Amy was trained very quickly, which has been no problem at all.

She loves attention and is very curious, but she is also very cautious. She has quite a hunting instinct so letting her run loose is not an option, we will not go there. And .. She's a little scared of strangers, especially if they are running holding a stick or with something in their hand such as the window cleaner.

She travels in the car, but she also is quite stiff with tension, probably because she was used to being in a car with hunters? She's had to get used to the weather here, especially the rain and she gets cold, hence her little sweater.
At the back they have to get used here, rain they all find out anything and she is cold, hence the

We are certainly very happy with her; she's a very funny perky little dog, who is determined to find a lot of ways to play in the future, because she is definitely not stupid! If Charlie wants to lie down on the cushion then she runs fast to get there too, so then he runs to the other cushion but our flying lady gets there before he can get to lie on it.

Sincerely,
Fredy
