First Sara was left behind, then she joined Zabou. Now Sara has been adopted, and it's poor Zabou who is left behind😢

Zabou came to the Refugio  from Seville, where he had survived for some years on the street. Sara - his wife had to be left behind because she had puppies and the rescuers didn't know where they were located. Then when they were found, Sara came to us and was reunited with Zabou. 

Sara was adopted earlier this year. There's a lovely video of her on this blog .

But sweet, clever Zabou is still with us, in foster care in the Netherlands.  He was once a family dog. He is scared but not extremely scared, and you feel that he wants to be with you. He deserves as much happiness as Sara, as any dog. Who will fall in love with this darling and never let him be left behind again.
