Little Fredita was spotted at the garbage cans at the end of the village. She was thin and skittish, was cold and almost snipped your hand off when a treat came, she was completely starved, the little girl. After a few weeks of building her confidence she just came to the car and she's been one of our 'worry dogs' ever since. It was like the day she came along she'd decided enough was enough…
Fredita has literally slept for two entire weeks, completely exhausted from the search and the “survival". She is a small and brave dog, but her sad look goes deep into your heart. The idea that she was so long without food and drink, not today, not yesterday, never - you can never understand. She is now gradually coming to herself and we get to know a sweet, timid but super affectionate Fredita. She is a grateful and good dog who dreams of a heaven on earth, somewhere where she no longer has to search for food but where she can simply be part of the family.
