Sesar: don't let him become one of the 'long stayers'

April 2020, from Fabiennes diary :

We see it so often - a dog that is not quite a puppy anymore. A lovely, quiet dog who doesn't draw attention to himself and so, far too often, gets overlooked. An ordinary dog - with a loving, dog's soul.

Sesar is not quite one year old. Still young. Still eminently trainable. We'd love him to be adopted now before one year turns to two and then three. It's happened before.

He had such a bad start, as many do. He was dumped and then attacked by wild dogs. He was badly wounded and thirsty and hungry. He was persuaded with a lot of patience to allow himself be picked up by Isabelle, our wonderful foster mum.

Sesar's wounds have healed and while he is good with the other dogs at Isabelle's quiet and inconspicuous, he would prefer not to be in a large pack. With the right, quieter environment and love and attention he will become your faithful companion and dearest friend.
