Who are we?
ACE permanently shelters 500 neglected and abused dogs and cats in two shelters in Spain. These dogs and cats were abandoned by their owners when they moved house or dumped on the street, in dumpsters, in the fields, or in one of the killing stations. Every year ACE finds a new home for more than 1200 dogs and cats, especially in the Netherlands and Belgium, which means more than 100 four-legged friends per month. The driving force behind all this is the Belgian Fabienne Paques, assisted by more than 300 volunteers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.
Who are we looking for?
As Coordinator Collection & Transport you are the point of contact for people who want to offer goods and you ensure that the collected items end up in the central storage every 2 to 3 months so that they can be stacked there on pallets for transport to Spain. It is sometimes a logistical puzzle, but you can arrange this task as you wish. You work together with the volunteers of the central storage and the volunteers who act as a collection point.
. What do you get in return?
. An incredibly good feeling;
· Hundreds of grateful hugs at a distance;
· A pleasant enthusiastic team;
· A larger social network
