Message from sad adopters: "With a lot of sadness in our hearts we have to inform you that Ella (Ace - GetAway) has become a star.
When we came across Ella on your site 6 years ago, it was love at first sight. She had a special color and with expressive eyes that we could look at for hours.
Our hearts jumped when we were allowed to pick her up in Zaventem that day. Tired from the journey, she fell asleep in the car like a log. Once at home, she was able to meet her two new friends. Two Jack Russells who were a bit older. Fortunately, because she did not like very energy rich dogs. Too much hassle. She liked her peace, a leisurely walk and every now and then she went for a little cross in the garden. Then quickly back on a soft bed. Or if there was sun, then she knew right away where she wanted to lie down.
She had a wonderful personality, gentle and calm, even stately. We called her our princess.
More than 1.5 years ago a wire-haired dachshund puppy came into her life. What patience she had with him, he could hang by her ears, pull her skin, ...
But the best thing to see and discover was her playfulness, they were romping together every day. Running in succession, rolling over the grass, ... Wonderful to see, she enjoyed it so much.
Last weekend she suddenly became ill, at the vet she turned out to have a tumor with internal bleeding. So suddenly, so unexpectedly, we had to let her go.
Our princess is no more, both we and Moris her dachshund boyfriend are going to miss her enormously. She was "one of a kind", she captured everyone's heart she met.
Rest in peace dear Ella ... We will never forget you !! 𧑠"
