On 11th December, 2020 - a word and some thoughts about our 21st Anniversary.

Today your thoughts go back to the many years that have passed ... 11.12.1999 - 11.12.2020.  21 years old, working day in and day out with our Refugio, and then you go back to thinking.  Large families like these, the puppies of mama Trix, for example, have all made it, but so many also slip away from us and those are things that we personally experience every day. Sometimes it's hard but always worth it! Big and small, but especially the ones who don't have a chance are my rescue dogs who go deepest in me, ... you have to give everyone a chance, but those ... they count just that little bit more. I would like to thank our Team, my husband Dirk, our volunteers, our sponsors and the many friends and sympathisers for all the work, dedication, money, compassion, and so much more, because it is a life's work that many people are involved with. You don't do something like that alone, you do something like that together, for which my sincere thanks !! Strong together and we enter year 22 with FULL strength !!
