Fabienne's diary: Living in hell ...

 Sunday, December 13, 2020

It was Sunday morning when we got this call. When you are confronted with something like this, it cuts to the bone. I really couldn't say no to this! He lived somewhere on a terrace, alone and without a basket or a blanket, among his own excrement. The neighbours could no longer bear to watch and informed the police. And they gave the owner the order to clean up the entire terrace and to give fresh food and drink, and not something several months old. He did, and as a sleeping compartment the poor boy got a plastic lid over his head. It did not improve, however, because after a while it was just the same again and the young creature withered visibly. The police then took the dog away and handed it over to us. Another Pit Bull who had to create a cool image for its measly owner. Just another example of an owner needing a Pit Bull to be seen with, and that was the life his puppy got. Growing up in his own faeces and languishing as if he never existed. That Sunday morning his life changed… He now calls Bongo and is a friendly, crazy dog. He jumps up on you, all friendship, but he has learned very little. He needs an owner who wants to start his learning, because he knows nothing. Only acting silly because he is so happy to be with us, and that is already a good start. This time we want an owner for him with a sense of responsibility and knowledge of the breed, someone with common sense, who understands what it means to take such a dog into your home ...
