He was dumped at a killing station a year ago. He was barely two and a half. Heartbreaking. He was skinny and miserable and weighed barely 18 kg - far too low for such a big dog. He was on the list to be put down because he wasn't a small or pretty dog. Not worth the bother of trying to find a home for him - not that they try very hard in any case. Much easier to just euthanise as many as possible.
Fortunately this lovely boy came to us just in time. He got good food and water, things he had been deprived of in the killing station. He got cuddles and kind words. Our students fell in love with him and so did we. This lovely boy with a typical loyal and lovely shepherd character is now in foster care in the Netherlands, where you can visit him and get to know him.
