Truus
Truus is a dog that was also rescued.from a house and taken to the killing station. She was treated horribly by the “people” there. She was dragged with a catch stick, gasping for breath. When we protested we were put in our place saying that they knew what they were doing and what was our problem?
Truusje has been terrorised. Which is very normal in my eyes if you know how these small and large dogs are treated there. And if they are already frightened dogs, then the job is complete, they are traumatised.
Truusje is now with us and we see her gradually reacting positively. She is starting to realize that there is no beating and terrorism here. She is a scared dog, but is very social with other dogs. She will need to develop with someone who wants to invest time and patience in this dog, it will definitely be worth it.
