Abeltje was the first one who was no longer welcome. A baby was born and that complicated the life of the two four-legged friends, but only Abeltje had to leave and so she came to us. She is a very gentle cat, who only hangs around you quietly, hoping to receive a nice hug. She is a good soul. When she was with the foster family for a few weeks, the foster mom received another phone call.
Once Abeltje was gone, Adonis was no longer happy, he did not eat, did not move, he missed his Abeltje. They had always been together, so we were allowed to pick up Adonis. They were definately in a very bad shape, full of fleas and ticks and their fur was matted - their eyes were inflamed ... really incredible.
Their reunion was heartwarming. This is a couple that has to stay together, they can't live without each other. They are both top-notch sweethearts, quiet blissful cats. They have always lived in a house, they don't know life outside. They are two cats that need work: the daily care of the coat, daily cleaning their eyes. If you are aware of this and want to do it and you love this breed, do not hesitate and offer them heaven on earth !!!
