Dear greetings from Moeke.

Unfortunately, she now has to continue without Vake, who recently passed away. But she is surrounded with the best of care and showered with love by her owners.

In memoriam Denzel (ACE Rexi)

Sunday, February 28, 2021

Last Saturday we had to put Denzel to sleep with pain in our hearts. He was sick and there was no prospect for him anymore. Fortunately, he was only ill for a week and a half. What a top dog he has been to us. A sweet clown, very smart, loyal and faithful. We laughed at him terribly every day. Thank you for letting us adopt him. We miss him very much. Denzel was 11 months old when he came to us and turned 12 years old. Goodbye boy, see you someday. 💔💫🌈

Danela and Leanne are doing well!

Danela and Leanne, both adopted by you. They are doing very well and play together a lot❣️

FOSTER DOG KIKI (ACE JIMENA 13499) enjoys sand and water

  Saturday, February 27, 2021

Dear Kiki is enjoying herself with her foster family in Friesland. She enjoyed the beach and the water, together with the other dogs and in another beautiful nature spot she was able to run on the long leash. Kiki is still looking for a permanent home. If you already have one or more dogs, Kiki would be happy to hang out with them. Who would like to meet this sweet, beautiful dog?

For more information about Jimena (now Kiki) please click on her name.

In Memoriam Loe (ace Lu 2585)

 Saturday, February 27, 2021

Our last holiday with Loe was in 2019 to Omaha-Beach, then there was still nothing in the air, but last year in October she got a fever.  Medication quickly resolved that but at the end of January the fever returned and her steps became harder and harder. In a short time our dear girl deteriorated very quickly, she had pain that the painkillers and the cortisone could no longer solve, so we put Loe to sleep on 25 February 2021 in consultation with the vet.

Thank you for allowing her to be in our lives!

Rita

Spyro (Ace Yayden)

Saturday, February 27, 2021

January 13, we were able to pick Spyro up.

In the 1.5 months that web's now had Spyro with us, he has developed so well. Where he used to find everything very scary and exciting, he is now really exploring and is becoming a lovely, naughty dog. Outside he loves to play with other dogs. Inside he loves his cuddly toys and bones and he also loves to cuddle with us.

He really is a dog with a golden heart, which really makes our lives even more beautiful. We are therefore very grateful that we can give Spyro his golden basket.

Diary of Fabienne: Tiggs, a common street cat ...

 Friday, February 26, 2021

She was a street pussy who no longer belonged anywhere. Somewhere in an urbanisation she tried to keep her life going, a young pussy, just dumped like so many.  And how to go on?

An English female suddenly noticed her and decided to take care of her. Gradually a bond grew and the kitten was overjoyed to have a mistress again, and Tiggs is her name now.  However, she was not allowed to stay inside because the male the house didn't like cats. Yet Tiggs was very happy with her new mistress every day. She also bonded with the big dog of the house, they also liked each other, and Tiggs got courage in life again.

Even though she was not allowed inside, she was happy to get food and drink, and especially to receive attention and love. Now the mistress has to go back to England, but she wants so badly to ensure the life of this kitten and see her happy. She is now looking for an owner and a family who may bring happiness to the little kitten. She is more than worth it.

Goodbye our dearest Zazou

 Friday, February 26, 2021

With enormous sadness I have to tell you that our dearest Zazou fell asleep last night.

I cannot begin to describe what an exceptionally sweet, well-behaved, fantastic and well-loved creature he was. A golden copy! He came to us in June 2007: we picked him up from his host family in distant Zandvoort (NL). It was love at first sight! He has conquered so many hearts in his life. He was everyone's friend! We are so grateful to him for all the beautiful moments we have experienced together.

The tumor on his tail was very difficult to operate and continued because of his age and age ailments was not justified. It was just "on".

We console ourselves with the thought that we have been able to give him a wonderful life for 14 years. I'm sure our slipper hero has been very, very happy.

But the house feels empty and the garden is quiet.

The whole family, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, bommas and bompas, and especially we and our children are going to miss him incredibly badly.

Regards,

Ruth

In memoriam Casper ...

 Friday, February 26, 2021

We put Casper to sleep yesterday. Casper had turned 19 according to his passport. For thirteen years he was the happy note in our family, he really was a human dog. It is special to report that Casper had Leishmania and, despite his illness, has reached an advanced age. He is sorely missed, ... 🌈💫

Fabienne's diary

Thursday, February 25, 2021

Today we went to our Isabelleke. There, too, Corona reigns and life stands still, but our Isabelleke continues to carry on, however difficult. She sings for her dogs and braves this time together with us ...

Today we were able to drive toe see her again, so we brought medication and food. It is always good to see each other and the dogs again and to update everything.

And so we go on, every day with ups and downs. But together you do so much more.

Diary of Fabienne: Britta,, a noble lady on a forgotten island.

 Tuesday, February 23, 2021

Britta is no longer a young dog. She is not a fit lady but a used up poor wretch who was locked up for years in a forgotten cage in a killing station, where volunteers fed her daily but where she had to live in conditions where every person was silent. What would become of her ...

When we looked her in the eye in a remote cage far behind the bushes, she looked at us full of friendship. Her daily walks had been a thing of the past, for years, and because of this she had no muscle mass and she could hardly walk. It went to your heart, we had to take this sweet dog out of her cage and bring her to our van. She looked at it and did not know what happened to her, but she left her cage behind. On the way to our shelter you could see it in her, she knew it was going to be different now somehow.

Once with us, she stumbled little by little to her new home. She slept and slept. Until she was allowed out in the morning, then something very heartwarming happened, something to remember. Despite the fact that she hadn't walked for years she suddenly ran back and forth and you saw that sweet little face beaming with happiness. That's why we are here. Such moments make your hard day good and your life fertile. That's what we do it for !!

Dear Britta, just a little longer and then you will see your life become different. We promise ...

In memoriam Cesar

 Tuesday, February 23, 2021

It is with great sorrow that I have to inform you that we had to say goodbye to Cesar yesterday. 13 years ago I was lucky enough to adopt him as a 5-month old puppy through you. Last week he suddenly started to limp, and after further investigation, bone cancer was diagnosed. That hit us like a bomb. He must have walked with it for years and we never noticed anything. Such a very strong guy! We helped him with pain medication, but nevertheless he still had too much pain and was soon unable to do anything on his own. So I had to make the hardest human decision ... for 13 years he was my most loyal and dearest friend. My rock in the surf for 13 years! Thank you for getting him into my life through you. He had a nice farewell in the family circle and his urn has a nice place with us.

Fabienne's Diary: Our great Moemoe ...

 Wednesday, February 24, 2021

This is also one of our newcomers, saved from death. A large Mastin lady, about 8 years old. She was also forgotten for years. Her stately beautiful posture gave way to faded glory.

Moemoe spent her early years in a hopeless cage, where hardly any people came, and if they came and saw her large figure, she got a disapproving look from afar, because only small and beautiful dogs had a chance there.

She never thought she would see another horizon, and she let life come, day by day and without too much hope that somebody would ever give her another chance.

The more years passed, the smaller her world became, the less hope she had.

When we took her to our van, she was scared, but she looked very surprised. She let it all wash over her, it will be what it will be, she thought.

After a few days with us you can see that sweet face come back to life. Here she counts, here she is loved and fought fo. And we will continue to do that until she is allowed home somewhere, where she can come and find happiness.

The lives of many big dogs are too often given up, but please people, they also have the right to life. And you couldn't possibly know what great friendships will grow out of this, ... They also have the right to our love!!!

For more information about sweet Moemoe, please click on her name.

Benno has been with us five months today!

Wednesday 24th February 2021

Benno is such a darling, we could no longer bear to be without him for a second. Thank you so much, ACE-Charity.

Our Rooney was so neglected ... Like a broken soul who did not know anymore ...... today a lazy day with his owners ... never say ... never.
