From the Diary
Piola and Piolin are two little souls found in a cardboard box in the dunes ... We took them out of the fierce heat, together with their deceased brothers and sisters. Unfortunately they were the only ones who we could save. The verdict : heatstroke and dehydration.
They are two very small dogs, barely a few months old. What is in their genes we do not know, the fact is that they were thrown away very young. Their life hung on a silk thread but they are on now on the mend. They were lucky, their brothers and sisters didn't survive.

This is Aloha (now Faith) with 3 broken legs. She had been thrown out of balcony 3 times.
Sofietje. Fabienne took her from the dog hotel. The owners left her there and never picked her up again.
Salsa has died recently, sadly.
